New addition: Experienced project engineer to strengthens strategic customer orientation and process orientation

We are further expanding our strategic customer orientation and process orientation with an expert from the plastics industry. Since the 1st of July 2023, Mr. Raimund Jahn has been strengthening our team in Kirchheim in his role as sales manager for “New Customer Projects and Process Optimization”. His expertise is comprehensive technical and market-specific know-how, and he will focus primarily on feasibility and increased productivity in the production of customized composite parts.

As the link between customer requirements and manufacturability at the mould maker or machine manufacturer, Raimund Jahn will be responsible for transferring customized precision moulded parts into process-optimized series production. Internally, he will play a key role as a mentor and knowledge advisor in all production areas. With his focus on innovation and sustainability, new modern manufacturing processes will be developed and implemented. “Absolute customer orientation is an essential element of being successful. In addition to our promise of precision and quality, I want to offer our customers further benefits through innovations and increased productivity,” he says.

Having graduated in engineering for production technology (University of Applied Science, Ulm), Raimund Jahn has held various managerial positions in his career to date: He has decades of experience in the plastics industry, a high level of expertise in tools and excellent process expertise in the production of plastic parts, especially for TPE, LSR and high-performance ceramics. Raimund Jahn is experienced in all standard production processes of injection moulded parts and knows how to further develop the underlying techniques. He knows the ins and outs of a wide variety of industries such as automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology, cosmetics, and packaging very well, is familiar with the requirements of airspace technology as well as the sector of hand and garden tools of renowned brand manufacturers. His passion is finding solutions to difficult and complex challenges, from interior and exterior applications to e-mobility systems.

Equipped with great inventiveness and can-do mentality, his professional career led him, among other things, from being a pioneer in plastic multi-component technology to a renowned automotive supplier of plastic components to a specialist in tool and mould making. His area of responsibility has always been consulting and calculating of customer projects, the technical realization of tools, devices and testing equipment, assessment, and evaluation of the feasibility of injection moulds, plastic parts, and entire assemblies, as well as the conception of the industrialization of plastic and LSR moulded parts.
