Our Rubber Compass® supports anyone looking for a suitable rubber compound for their product application – simply, quickly and mobile. It only takes a few mouse clicks to reach your destination: Our Rubber Compass® suggests one or more suitable rubber compounds from the commercially available elastomer types, which are linked to the rubber lexicon for additional information and assistance. The results can be printed or saved as required.
Ideal for purchasers, developers and designers who need rubber moulded parts and rubber compound parts when selecting, developing and manufacturing their products. It is also a useful tool for school and university students. The rubber tool can be used free of charge via smartphone or tablet at www.rubber-compass.com.
The Rubber Compass® is divided into three sections: chemical, mechanical and physical properties. You can choose from a total of 18 properties, such as resistance to acids, alkalis, weathering, cold flexibility, heat resistance, suitability for drinking water, AdBlue® and good tensile strength, depending on your requirements at the click of a mouse. Desired properties can also be selected or removed again. The reset button in the middle of the compass needle can be used for a complete restart.
