The IMDS (International Material Data System) is an archive, exchange and administration system for automobile construction in the internet. Based on the IMDS, material data sheets are created in which all used materials and proportionate material components are named for the concerned component and all necessary data is recorded which is necessary for the later recycling of the vehicle part.
