Change in the management board

Dr. Andreas Hoffmann retired at the end of the year 2020 after more than 30 years as managing director of HOFFMANN GmbH. The company’s long-standing operations manager, Andreas Neumann, will manage the company as follower together with the previous managing director, Jochen Kugler.

Dr. Hoffmann joined the company founded by his parents in 1961 on April 1st 1990. “A lot has happened at HOFFMANN in the past 30 years,” said the parting managing director. “The way from the manufacturer of simple rubber molded parts to the specialist for rubber composite parts was stony but very successful”.

To this the strategic realignment of HOFFMANN GmbH has made a significant contribution in the last years, which
Dr. Hoffmann and his managing director colleague Jochen Kugler have pushed on.

Today HOFFMANN is globally oriented as part of a European group of companies with its own production sites in Germany, the Netherlands and Hungary as well as production partnerships in Taiwan and China.

In the past few years, especially the segment of micro-composite parts has grown strongly. Cross-industrial, all major manufacturers of control technology are supplied. Despite the Corona crisis, the order books at HOFFMANN are well filled again at the start into the New Year 2021. New large-scale projects in electromobility and the semiconductor industry are giving additional drive.

“I am delighted with these very positive future prospects for the company. They make it easier for me to say goodbye and hand it over to my successor after 3 decades, ”said Dr. Hoffmann. Even after retiring as managing director, Dr. Hoffmann in his function as a shareholder of HOFFMANN GmbH will continue to provide advice.
